Cooling Off
by the OldMaster85
Today Dr. Robert Sherman
and his fishing buddy Larry Deddy went out looking for tarpon over 50
pounds.. They found several schools of these huge fish and were having a
great time casting flies to the fish.
Deddy was standing on the
small raised tower on the skiff when it happened... HE LOST HIS BALANCE
AND WENT OVERBOARD... a nice swan dive into the briny. With him went
his rod and reel, his fancy tarpon-wear clothing and his fine camera which
Robert tells me was NOT AN UNDER WATER MODEL (but NOW it's an underwater
camera).
The incident had a happy
ending because the rod was not broken. Larry Deddy got back on board
the skiff without injury to anything except his composure and both Larry
and Robert had a good laugh as Larry remarked that it was "one way to
cool off on a very hot day".
